Happy new year! I hope you guys had a good one.

I have a couple of changes planned for 2016 and it’s time to talk about them!

First one is not really a change, since it’s been going on for two months now, but I still have to announce it officially. I am going to continue with doing colored requests instead of sketch lotteries and votes.

15$ pledges get tickets to the request lottery

5$ get tickets to thunderdomes and votes like that disney princess one.

Here are the reasons why:

1.They are a lot quicker and fun to do than what I did before. With sketch lotteries and votes it might take months between the sketch being done and it being finished. Both Alfie and colored comics take months to do and I really enjoy a project that is more immediate than that.

2.The flaw of the sketch lottery system was that most sketches ended up unused. I’d rather have every lottery winner getting something substantial than sketches. And it means more finished colored pictures getting done which is nice for everybody.

3.Since november there was a significant raise in pledges, which I assume is related to the slew of requests I did since then. Seems like you guys prefer to do colored pics the new way.

Second change is the big one. After “The Good Old Times” is  done this month, colored comics will no longer be a part of this patreon.I am going to make a second patreon that is based on ‘per post’ pledges instead of ‘per month’. I am going to release the comics every couple of months when they’re done, not a couple of pages every month. No paywall of course. The finished product will be freely available to everybody.

The comics are going to be shorts (around 6 pages), focusing on various bisexual stuff like crossdressing, futa on male and mmf bi threesomes. They are going to be mostly focused on the porn part rather than the story. I want to have  a lot of voting to decide character designs and which stories to do. Much more than before.

Here are my reasons for this change

1.The big thing I learned in 2015 is that I need to prioritise better. I have so many projects I want to work on, but I have to accept that I just can’t do them all. I decided to prioritise Alfie and frankly, as it is right now, I don’t have enough time in a month to keep it updated four times a week. Lately I’ve been drawing 8h a day 6 days a week and still I am just barely making it. Any time I have to take days off like during the holidays I immediately fall behind. Making the release schedule of the colored comics more flexible would give me enough time to do everything I want.

2.Between all of the projects I work on, the colored comics are the odd one out. They don’t really fit the monthly nature of this patreon. It is usually months between releases of finished comics and I always felt bad about it. Like you guys are paying for an unfinished product. For both Alfie and the requests, there is actual finished content multiple times every month, so it's fair to ask money for them on that basis. That is not the case for the colored comics.

3.I want to use this as an opportunity to focus my content a little bit. The scope of this patreon is stupidly large. I want to focus more on what I consider to be bisexual porn. Meaning guys taking it in the butt with some aspect of femininity thrown in. Whether that femininity is that the guy is wearing a dress, or that a woman is watching or that the dick in his ass belongs to a futa. This is pretty much my favorite kind of porn and there is so little of it out there. I want to fix that.

I am not going to talk about the details yet, because I still need to figure out how to make this fair for you guys. For example, what if somebody wants high res pics of all of my work. Does he have to now pledge 5$ to both patreons? Should some of the rewards be shared between them? I’ll make a post about the details when I have them locked down. Bottom line is, that I am not doing this to squeeze more money out of you guys.

As usual, I am writing this ahead of time so you guys can have time to react. If the colored comics being dropped from this patreon makes you want to change your pledge, you have around a month to do so.

Sounds like a decent idea to me, as much as we all want more content I also think we don't want you to over-work yourself . Do what feels right and draw what you think is fun and people will be onboard :)

I really like that you will focus more on bisexual stuff with the new patron, really enjoy that stuff and what you have done of it before has been really good.

I think this sounds great! Color me one happy bisexual.

Fucking excited for 2016

I would like to know if this will create a schism in the InCase Patreon community. I'm ok with waiting longer for the comics, but I'm not okay with having to pay an additional patreon for them when they were a feature of this one. I understand that not all of the details are on this post, but as a recommendation, I would suggest posting on this patreon a compilation of the comics of the other patreon every two months or something for those of us who have more time than cash. I honestly can't support more than this one (being from a third-world country and all), and I would feel very short-changed if content were lost in this way.

The comics will be published for free, just like before. If you can only support one of the patreons, you might miss out on the ability to vote on their content, or some WIP's but the finished product will always be free for everybody to see.

I'm actually in favor of the split because, truth to tell, the futa/trap stuff doesn't ring my chimes. This way, I'll feel like my $ are going more to what I like, and maybe those into the T/F stuff will feel the same. Won't change my pledge choices, in any case. Looking forward to 2016!

I love your work. You do what you need to. I want you happy & productive, so I can enjoy more great art.

I contribute because I love your work, and I love your values about it. You've clearly put in YEARS of work to get as good as you are, and I'm thrilled you're getting recognition and compensation for it. As to the changes, I'm less interested in voting than I am in supporting a talented artist who loves drawing porn where everybody involved is having a good time. (Also, more bisexual stuff? Yes please!) So whatever makes you happy, makes you productive, makes me a happy camper.

InCaseArt

Yeah, I figured some people have to feel like that, supporting a patreon with a stupidly large spread of fetishes. Part of the reason why I want to compartmentalise a bit.

Thank you for helping the Bi community out! Its such a strange stigma and people just don't really understand it so it feels great to see someone that gets it. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Sounds like a good idea. I know that it was your Xenobiology comic that brought me to supporting you, and I like the idea of a project dedicated to supporting more of that kind of content. (That's actually one of the most highly-rated comics on the Internet these days.)

Daddy Warbucks

Wow, The Good Old Times is some of your best work! I'm sorry to see you won't be doing any more straight colored comics., but appreciate the amount of work involved in creating such masterpieces.

I'm going to continue supporting you on Patreon, but can you clear this up--is this bisexual stuff (my bread and butter!) going to show up here, on your tumblr, or on another patreon I should start donating to? Basically, what website should I put in my RSS so I don't miss a thing?
