Features:

  • Added guided toys to the gallery. The toys do now align and rotate towards the spots that can be penetrated. This makes the interaction easier.
  • Added a new toy called Yooman to play around to the gallery.
  • Penetrating a creature with a toy is now exciting the creature. 
  • The excitement value now also increases when the toy is stuck or vibrates.
  • Added a button to the gallery to toggle the guided toys on and off.
  • Added a way to automatically disabling guided mode once you move far away.
  • Added butthole interaction with toys. You can now smoothly stretch the buttholes of the male and female Felkin in the gallery while using the toys.
  • Added a set of tool tips to the core game that explain the basic controls when roaming around the island.
  • Added "hip snap" to the gallery, which allows you to select a toy and snap it to your hip. This feature is available for normal and VR modes of the game and can be selected in the toy menu.
  • You can now select Felkin skins in the "breeding device" scenario.
  • Added DevIsland 2.0. A new developer sandbox to test a fully new terrain and assets that I want to use for the terrain generator.
  • Added a new patrolling script to FeralIsland. NPC creatures now randomly pick a travelling direction and after some time they will look around and Idle until they pick a new direction. Creatures now also move asynchronous from others.
  • Added responsive buttons to the main menu that open the FAQ, game controls and project road-map in a separate browser window.
  • Added a button to the gallery to toggle "auto-thrust" on and off. Auto-thrust can also be combined with the new guide toggle button.
  • It is now possible to use the "auto-thrust" feature while hip snapping is active. This feature should also work with VR-mode.
  • Added fast "auto-thrust". You can now toggle between normal and fast thrusting speeds.
  • Added haptic feedback when you penetrate with toys. 
  • Enabled auto-Thrust, guide and hip snap in VR.
  • Added dynamic pen* orifaces which the yooman toy reacts to. These orifaces are added to the felkin, raptor(old and new) and the shunamir.
  • Added dynamic pen* to the Horsey toy and further improved pen* collision detection for all other toys.
  • Added dynamic pen* to the dergn toy and added an improved and more detailed toy version to the gallery.
  • Rebuilded the matte UI and upgraded it to a new system, that also works for VR.

Changes:

  • Changed the jumping mechanics of the game. Lowered the jump power when you stand while doubling the jump power when you sprint.
  • Gave the sprint jump slightly more power.
  • Increased the ray-casting offset for the ground detection to lower the risks for creatures falling through the terrain. Let me know if you still manage to fall through it!
  • Removed a miss-leading tool-tip from the DevIsland 2.0.
  • Updated the fluid simulation physics to be more detailed and also more splashy(maybe a bit to much at the moment).
  • Toys are now slightly more firm.
  • Guided toys react quicker and have less movement delay.
  • Improved the overall toy collision detection precision.
  • Changed the SSS-shaders to better support other VR-headsets and improved the low-end performance. This shader was also added to the dergn toy. 
  • Changed the way how the haptic feedback curve is modulated for the left vive controller. It is now the same curve as the right controller.
  • Changed the Horsey texture to test transparency and 'internal pen* view'. This feature is planned to be toggled on and off. 
  • Slightly straightened the Horsey toy to work better with the dynamic pen* system.
  • Toys now stay selected if the gender is switched, but not if the toy was placed. 
  • Toy properties get deselected now when the gender is switched.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in which it was possible float around by jumping repeatedly. You can now only jump when grounded. (This was more like an intentional bug, to unstuck your character. Keep in mind that you can respawn by pressing the R-Key if you are stuck in the terrain.) 
  • Fixed a bug in which the rig would break, by moving backward if you press ctrl + W.
  • Fixed a bug in which the rotation of the toys would change depending of the camera direction they where selected at.
  • Fixed a bug in which sprinting would not allow higher jumps.
  • Fixed a bug in which the "breeding device" and "slobbery things" Felkin would suddenly start to idle.
  • Fixed a bug in which the scenario buttons were not interactive anymore after deselecting them.
  • Fixed two bugs in which the wrong dev-island was loaded when 'R' was pressed.
  • Fixed a bug which would the toys disappear in guide mode.
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy rotation would miss-align. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy would spawn in the scene origin.
  • Fixed a bug in which the button-state was not loaded correctly when the horsey toy was selected.
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy was still in the hand of the user, when a scenario was selected. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy would do a unnecessary respawn every time a toy mode was selected.
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy buttons were still interactive once a toy property was clicked. 
  • Fixed another bug in which the horsey toy was still selected when the right-mouse button was clicked to deselect the toys. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the auto-thrust button was not in sync. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the vibrate button of the vibrator toy was not in sync.
  • Fixed a bug in which the wrong gender was loaded in the "just the tip" scenario. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the wrong gender was loaded in the "breeding device" scenario.
  • Fixed a bug in which the new pen* features would not work in VR. 
  • Fixed a couple of bugs in which the haptic feedback would not work in VR.
  • Fixed a bug in which the guide and hip snap would not be working when auto-thrust was not active.
  • Fixed a bug in which pressing tab would select the yooman toy. 
  • Fixed a bug in which pressing right mouse button would select the yooman toy.
  • Fixed a bug which resulted in a NullReference error because a MeshRenderer component was not present. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy shaders would cause culling issues with fog.
