This are the patch-notes of the free August update for FeralIsland. Patchnotes:

Features:

  • Added butthole interaction with toys. You can now smoothly stretch the buttholes of the male and female Felkin in the gallery while using the toys.
  • Added new creature eyes to the Felkin and the Raptor.
  • Added a "vibrate" toggle button to the vibrator toy in the gallery. You can also keep the toy vibrating now when penetrating.
  • Added an updated vibrator mesh to the gallery.
  • Added wobbly physics and collision detection to the horsey toy in the gallery.
  • Added wobbly physics and collision detection to the dergn toy in the gallery.
  • Added alternative UI snapping modes to the VR modes in the gallery. You can now toggle and snap the UI to your hip.
  • Added a set of tool tips to the core game that explain the basic controls when roaming around the island.
  • Added "hip snap" to the gallery, which allows you to select a toy and snap it to your hip. This feature is available for normal and VR modes of the game and can be selected in the toy menu.
  • Added a new patrolling script to FeralIsland. NPC creatures now randomly pick a travelling direction and after some time they will look around and Idle until they pick a new direction. Creatures now also move unsynchronous from others.
  • Added responsive buttons to the main menu that open the FAQ, game controls and project road-map in a separate browser window.
  • Added responsive toys to the gallery. The toys do now align and rotate towards the spots that can be penetrated. This makes the interaction easier.
  • Added a button to the gallery to toggle the responsive toys on and off. 
  • Added a way to automatically disabling responsive mode once you move far away.
  • Added a button to the gallery to toggle "auto-thrust" on and off. Auto-thrust can also be combined with the new responsive toggle button.
  • It is now possible to use the "auto-thrust" feature while hip snapping is active. 


Changes:

  • Updated the material and added textures to the new vibrator mesh. 
  • The deselect button in the gallery does now also toggle the vibrator off.
  • Slightly lowered the UI scale in VR-mode when you snap the UI to your hands and hip when your run the game in the Oculus rift.
  • Changed the distance of the toys when they are selected in VR mode. They are now closer to the player.
  • Improved the physical behavior of the toys in the gallery. They do now tear less when hovering around in higher speed.
  • Changed the jumping mechanics of the game. Lowered the jump power when you stand while doubling the jump power when you sprint.
  • Gave the sprint jump slightly more power.
  • Increased the ray-casting offset for the ground detection to lower the risks for creatures falling through the terrain. Let me know if you still manage to fall through it!
  • Toys are now slightly firmer.


Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in which the vibrator toy was not selected.  
  • Fixed a bug in which the vibrator toy position was not updated properly when selected.
  • Fixed a bug in which deselecting the vibrator did not end the vibrating feature.
  • Fixed a bug in which deselecting the vibrator did not end the vibrating feature, when the horsey or the dergn toy was selected.
  • Fixed a bug in which the left hand controller in VR mode would rotate the HMD orientation in the kennels sandbox. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the SteamVR camera rig was not present in the kennels. 
  • Fixed a bug which would override the analog functionality of the right Oculus controller if the left controller was inactive.
  • Fixed a bug in which it was possible float around by jumping repeatedly. You can now only jump when grounded. (This was more like an intentional bug, to unstuck your character. Keep in mind that you can respawn by pressing the R-Key if you are stuck in the terrain.) 
  • Fixed a bug in which the rig would break, by moving backward if you press ctrl + W.
  • Fixed a bug in which the rotation of the toys would change depending of the camera direction they where selected at.
  • Fixed a bug in which sprinting would not allow higher jumps.
  • Fixed a bug in which the "breeding device" and "slobbery things" Felkin would suddenly start to idle. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the scenario buttons were not interactive anymore after deselecting them.
  • Fixed a bug which would the toys disappear in responsive mode.
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy rotation would miss-align. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the toy would spawn in the scene origin.
  • Fixed a bug in which the button-state was not loaded correctly when the horsey toy was selected.
