[Future of FeralIsland] #4 - Poll result and other news. (Patreon)

Hello friends,

Today we will take a short look at the poll results and talk about some future polls that i am planning to do.

But first i want to welcome all the new faces and patrons in here! I was blown away by the growth in the last couple of days. We are actually approaching the next stretch goal which is amazing. Thanks a lot and enjoy the ride while I keep implement all the juicy things we all want to see in a nice feral themed game! :>

1. Soft re-branding VR_Ferals to FeralIsland

Some of you might have noticed that for a while now I repeatedly called this project FeralIsland instead of VR_Ferals. And I decide to write down a little statement about why I decided to do so. The name VR_Ferals was pretty much the first prototype name of this project but there are a couple of reason why this name is not very optimal for a long term project like this:

• A lot of people imply that that a game called VR_Ferals will require HMD and VR devices to run. But this is not the case. The game pretty much plays on normal mode by default, while also having VR support.
• Back when the name VR_Ferals first appeared there was not even an island planned. The overall concept and vision of the game has been flashed out and it would be nicer to move to a less prototypical name.

To avoid confusion about this, I decided to use the name FeralIsland for the project. This also means that the discord server will get a new Icon soon. :> Some of the older [VR_Ferals] patreon tags will be renamed to [FeralIsland]. Also keep in mind that this does NOT mean that this project will get less VR support. The re-branding has no effect on the development of the project and the planned VR implementations.

However the patreon url will stay: patreon.com/VR_Ferals because old game version should still link to the same page to avoid people from thinking the project is gone. :)

Edit: The thing i forgot to write down is, that i would also like to rename the files in the nightly_builds folder, in addition I would like to nuke some files there to safe some space for the next nightly_builds.

2. Poll results and new FERAL Tester system implementation

End of last week I decided to create a little poll to let the community decide if they would like the new planned FERAL Tester system or if they would prefer the old one. The result can be seen here: poll

The new system will be implemented as soon as there is an STABLE build. I am planning to release the first STABLE build for FERAL supporters around mid of next month.

3. New Unique Felkin skins + One commission slot left.

I am currently working on two additional Unique Felkin skins for FeralIsland. The first one might be released end of the week while the other one will be coming out soon after. Stay tuned for those releases. ^^ Can you guess which Felkin it might be?

Also, there is one Unique Felkin commission slot left.

There might also be another round with slots in the future. But i cannot guarantee it, due to the current project focus.

4. The next Scenario + 2bulls1"cow" part 2.

Some of you might have read before that the next scenario for the gallery will be a M/F mating animation. I am pretty excited about that and I would love to create a little poll for you guys where you can decide which position I should animate for those majestic critters. I´´ d prefer to have a basic vanilla sex scene featuring vaginal sex and no anal or oral for the first scenario before moving to more exotic mating sequences. For that reason that poll will only have two pick-able animations but it will have an additional variation in options. This is an example of the current options I am thinking of:

• missionary, female on back, male muzzle locking the female.
• missionary, female on back, female biting the throat of the male.
• doggy(felkin style), female evenly on paws, male biting her neck.
• doggy(felkin style), female lowered chest and raised tail, male pulling the ears with a lovely bite.

Btw: Poll results do not exclude animations that are not winners! I would love to do as many animation variations as possible! I am simply asking you which one you would like to get first! :>

There will also be a little slider added to the current M/M/M scenario soon, where you can switch from "steady" to "rough". >:3 The rough mating animation will be a direct progression of the current animation. There is also a climax, afterplay and probably a foreplay animation for the 2bulls1"cow" scenario planned at some point in the future.
