You called out Genjuro's strength. Go back and look at his first scene in s1. You will notice he isn't nearly so swole. Perhaps he made the decision to get buff after losing Kanade in that concert attack. Ogawa actually taught Tsubasa the Shadesticher move. Cause he is a ninja. Miku's 'throw' remember the cane is a relic too. As a full relic it doesn't need phonic gain to power itself. It also means that anyone can use it it free.
