Yeah, you made a good choice. The final two-three episodes of each season are best enjoyed all in one go. Although this does make me wonder how you will react when certain... instances come up next season.

Well, If the these episodes were any indication for my weakness to big cliffhangers, I have no idea how I will react and how many episodes may lump together! I guess we can only wait and find out! :)

Loved you r reaction! The Symphogear G OVAs explain why they had to fake Hibiki and the other's deaths for those 3 weeks. I'd recommend checking them out after you finish season 2. Fine's story is basically the tower of Babel from Christian mythology. Humanity builds a tower in order to reach the heavens. For the crime of building the tower, God curses humanity, taking away our common tongue, dividing us and preventing true understanding. I'm super excited to see you start season 2. The production quality only goes up from here, and the never-ending hype train is just getting rolling. Enjoy the ride!

Quick clarification on that: if you check out the Symphogear G OVAs before starting Symphogear G, ONLY WATCH THE FIRST ONE! The first one takes place before the season and the second one takes place during it and has spoilers for the season.
