A Fairly Large Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone, wanted to give a quick update about the Petscop/Sheriff Domestic/AI Builds video. Also, this will be a general work update, an update on the future of the Patreon, etc. Also, feel free to browse some of the behind-the-scenes WIP images from the upcoming video below!

So, I should have this current video done before the end of the month. I'm trying for the next ten days or faster. So, it should be soon!

Okay, here's a more general update: Being completely honest, I've been in a funk lately. I am interested in the topics of videos, but I've found the general format of "opening, breakdown, analysis" to have gotten really boring, and about halfway through the video's production, I'm suddenly completely burnt out. Then I have to spend the next half trudging my way through to the finish line.

But then I noticed something... I was looking back at my videos, and about every year or so, something would happen... I went from making the "Creepypasta Files" to the "Creepy Files" to the "FNaF Retrospectives" and then to this most recent era... And now, we've been long overdue for a new change-up. Each one of these 'eras', my channel grew and my videos improved, but I feel like I've stagnated a little now. And I've really noticed it in my motivation with these videos.

So after this Petscop video, I'm making some changes. For me, they'll be pretty major, but I think for the actual output of content, they'll only be minor. Its changes in the way I write, record, and edit videos. The way I choose topics. Its still sort of in the works, but here's what you can expect:

1. My work schedule will be 1 video per month (due before the 1st of the next month).

2. Increased focus on both the analysis sections of my videos, and a wider variety of topics (still a focus on horror, web-series/games).

3. Better production quality (editing+filmmaking).

4. On average, slightly shorter videos (think 45min-1hr, instead of 1hr 30min, on average).

Now, for the update on the Patreon: Believe it or not, even with all these improvements, I'll actually be having a lot more free time, meaning:

I also want to start changing some things up a little bit. In the future I'd like to add a $1 tier, and maybe some additional perks.

Also, I want to update you on what your Patreon contributions have helped me get this year: I've just ordered some fantastic new lighting equipment, some new recording equipment (mics, etc), some new decorations for the backdrops of my on-camera segments! I've also upgraded from Vegas Pro 19 to Vegas Post 20, which is opening a lot of new editing possibilities. And in the near future, there's a big one: I'll be upgrading my PC. I'm still workshopping the exact details, but thanks to you all I'll be able to get something really nice, helping me add more 3D production to the videos, and speeding up the editing and rendering process.

I cannot thank you all enough for the support. Because of you, I don't just have to rely on the sometimes spotty adsense of YouTube, and I'm able to make increasingly better videos. Now, enjoy some BTS screenshots!!
