I think this is as close as I can get to the original design the artists at Square Enix intended to create for Tifa's purple dress. There are a few clues leftovers in the game textures as to how the design would have looked in 3D, so it was likely changed very late in development. However, it's possible to use these clues to restore the design. If you're curious, the last 4 images here have a small breakdown of the leftover data. If anyone is more interested in the unused data left in this texture set, I could try to make a more in-depth break down.
