Here's the changelog:
Version 2.0
New Content:
- Finished The Facility with 4 new scenes where you attempt to escape the facility after curing your infection. Just as a reminder, be sure to use the settings menu to disable unwanted content!
- Added 2 demos for potential upcoming scenarios, not too much content in each but they'll hopefully give the idea of what their scenarios would contain. One of these was based on a suggestion by Wild Bill, thanks!
Bugfixes and typos:
- Fixed an error in The Facility that Cryptogreek found
Known Issues:
- I broke the oowoo code, sorry! It'll cause issues in almost every campaign, and the issues it's causing are insidious. You can still safely turn it on and off, so it isn't game-breaking.
Other changes:
- Implemented a quicksaving / quickloading system which should hopefully make the game play much smoother.
I wish I'd come up with the quicksaving system sooner, I would've designed the facility in a completely different way. Maybe I'll come back and update it to play more like scenario 1? It'd be a good excuse to add more scenes retroactively.
I'm afraid I'm not sure when the next update will be. Over this December and January I've had the chance to work on development full time, giving me the chance to develop and write for many different projects at once. Unfortunately life responsibilities are rearing their head, and I don't know how soon I'll be able to do that again. Until then developing three games simultaneously is more than I can manage. I'd expect a hiatus until at least March.
I'll try to keep active in discussion and would definitely appreciate feedback/ideas. And of course I'd love to know what you'd pick for scenario 3. I'll come back to this project just like I did before.
Thanks for reading this, hope you enjoy!
