Donks is now out on YouTube for the world to see, but YOU don't need to stream it, all squashed and compressed, because here is a link to the actual video file:

The big version (Donks ProRes) is the official final version of the film, the biggest copy that exists, and the version designed to send to film festivals to (hopefully) play on the big screen!

Because it's so big though, I've included some smaller files in case you don't want to fill your whole computer with donks.

The next size down (Donks H264 4K), is the version that was uploaded to YouTube. The film was made at 1920x1440 pixels, but this version is rendered out at double that resolution, because YouTube's compression is kinder to 4k videos. YouTube still compresses everything though, so the actual file still looks better than watching it on YouTube in 4k.

Because that file was STILL quite big, I rendered out an additional version (Donks H264 HD). It's the same as the last one, except I didn't double the resolution. Since it was never actually MADE in 4k, this should still have all the same visual information as the 4k one. It was just to curb the effects of compression, but since it's not being additionally-compressed by YouTube's processing, it still probably looks better than 4k on YouTube!
