The final timeline is for Corona, the baby of the group.

  • Prologue: Ericordium, capital city, late-autumn, Corona’s 13th birthday
    • Corona hides away from the visitors from the Republic, staying in her room for most of the day...as ordered by her parents
    • Corona, in her loneliness, accidentally sets her handkerchief on fire -- her magical powers have awakened
    • Halios, her demon bodyguard, realizes what has happened, and throws the kerchief in a pitcher of drinking water, concerned because this will only isolate Corona more
  • Ericordium, capital city, mid-spring
    • Corona is called into the throne room by her parents, the first time they’ve done so in many years
    • Corona is surprised to find that a diplomat from the Republic is present, and keeps her head down in an attempt to hide the color of her eyes, which are red -- a color denoting magical talent
    • Her parents, who appear undernourished and with dark circles under their eyes, announce to her that they are undertaking an alliance with the Republic, specifically a military and trade one
    • In order to seal this alliance, they have decided that she will marry one of the diplomat’s sons
    • Corona, deeply upset but unable to argue, says nothing and simply bows before leaving
  • Ericordium, a private, coastal island, mid-spring
    • Corona practices her magic under the instruction of Halios
    • She is interrupted by Felice, her human guard, with a letter from Renalia of Runalis -- it is an invitation to a summer ball. It has arrived late because it was sent to the capital first, where it sat for many days before being forwarded to the princess’ current location
    • Corona, desperate for friends and allies, sends word that she will be attending as soon as she finishes reading
  • Ericordium, capital city, late spring
    • Corona returns to the palace to prepare to visit Runalis for Renalia’s ball when she is summoned by her parents
    • She is introduced to her betrothed: (insert name here), a representative in the Republic’s government. Initially polite, if condescending, Corona quickly deduces that he doesn’t give a damn about her or her country. He seems to care very little about anything other than his father’s approval and his own image.
  • On route to Runalis, late spring
    • Felice enters Corona’s private train car to deliver documents and records he’s found about (Fiance’s) political history
    • Corona is horrified to find that he has voted against every welfare bill that came through the Legislature.
    • She also finds that he has taken money from organizations against environmental protections and against civil liberties for marginalized groups
    • She cries, unable to find a way out of the situation
  • Runalis, capital city, first day of summer
    • Corona arrives to the palace around the same time as Alwyn and is surprised to be greeted personally by Renalia
    • She eagerly accepts and invitation to tea, and marvels at how quickly the three seem to form a bond
    • Hoping that they’d be willing to help, Corona reveals her situation and what she knows of her fiance.
    • To her relief, Renalia and Alwyn both jump to her defence and comfort, promising to do what they can
  • Ericordium, capital city, early summer
    • Corona returns home, and seeks a private audience with her mother and father
    • She presents her evidence to them, hoping to convince them to back out of the marriage at least
    • They do not, insisting that the security and wealth that the alliance will provide is more than enough of a trade off for a few felled forests
    • They then accuse her of being a traitor, and wanting them to be weak so they can be run over by the larger countries in the region
    • They inform her that her marriage will be in a few weeks, and there is nothing she can do about it
    • She finds two invitations that have not already been sealed and addressed and stuffs a plea for help into them before addressing them to Renalia and Alwyn
  • Ericordium, capital city, midsummer
    • Corona is fitted for her dress
    • Her fiance interrupts, complimenting her attire
    • And then he says something terribly upsetting (implying something sexual and possibly violent)
    • He leaves and Corona breaks down in tears
  • Ericordium, capital, mid-summer
    • Corona is set to be married, and finds herself near panicking trying to find a way out of it
    • Renalia and Alwyn manage to catch her alone for a moment, and promise her that they’re going to object, and give her a moment to expose her parents’ treachery
    • Renalia suggest implementing a harem system like in Runalis, to keep such a thing from happening again, which Corona seriously considers
    • Renalia and Alwyn object during the wedding, leading to a small scuffle during which Corona defends herself using magic, exposing herself to the nobility
    • She banishes her mother and father, along with the ambassador and his son, and changes the wedding into a coronation ceremony
    • She then announces that she will be taking Halios and Felice as her consorts
  • Ericordium, capital, late summer
    • Corona has been working on implementing social reforms and new tax laws with the help of several advisors who have proven enthusiastic for her policies
    • Her meeting is interrupted by word coming in that Republic ships have been spotted moving towards their naval territory -- war ships
    • Corona immediately sends word to Renalia and Alwyn
  • Air ship, neutral territory, late summer
    • Renalia, Corona, and Alwyn meet up and begin strategizing
    • Renalia calls upon Iroha’s father to bolster their armies
    • Alwyn offers to take a single squad of soldiers to rescue Cadell
    • Corona suggests drawing their enemies into a naval battle in the sea between the northern edge of Renalia’s kingdom and the southern edge of Alwyn’s
      • This sea is known for being rough and unpredictable, especially during the transitional period between summer and fall
    • Corona would then swoop in on Alwyn’s sturdy airships with a squad of magic users
  • Ericordium, a warship on the Astrea Sea, late summer/early autumn
    • Corona directs her warships in a battle against the Republican ships, hoping to weaken their forces and break through to lead them on a chase towards the northern Fingall Sea
    • Thanks to the help of a bolstered magical force, Corona is able to destroy a handful of ships and lead her forces through the gap in the blockade before the Republican navy is able to regroup
    • To her relief, they do follow
  • Airship, above the Fengall Sea, early autumn
    • Corona awaits the signal from Alwyn as she watches Republic ships meet up with stolen Adheinne ships
    • Alwyn’s ship is boarded, which is the signal. Corona commands the armada of airships to dive as close as safety allows
    • She steps onto the open air walkway outside of the gondola
    • The descent is slow, and Corona is able to watch Alwyn hold the man she’d been fighting by the hair as she orders the magicians to fire upon the enemy ships
    • She unleashes a storm of fire and lightning down upon the ships using her own magic, leaving utter devastation in her wake
  • Epilogue: Ericordium, capital city, late autumn that same year
    • Corona officially takes Halios and Felice as her two consorts. Her former fiance is in attendance
