It's done, it's scanned, and if anyone wants to adopt it, it is now available for money.

16 1/2" x 22 1/2", Tombow brush pen, G-nib pen, Hunt 102, rapidograph, Pentel correction pen, Uni-ball Signo white pen, OCD, and way more hours than I ever expected. This was supposed to be a "simple" project for fun, but once I started the texturing I couldn' t stop adding stuff. It was fun, though. Mostly.

I'm asking $3,500 for the pin-up that ate my life. That includes shipping (and insurance and the shipping tube and whatever else we'll need to pack it up and mail it safely -- I've never drawn or shipped anything this size before but I'm pretty sure it's not going out flat, if it ever goes out at all).

(EDITED 5/5/20 9:08: Goodness gracious, the Marvel Villains piece has been...SOLD!)

Patreon backers have first shot at it. If anyone's interested, and has recently pulled a solid heist or won some money at the roulette wheel, I'm at evandorkin@gmail.com. We can take credit cards through Square, we accept checks and Paypal. The Patreon-only offer will remain in play until Mother's Day, or sometime after whenever I get around to opening it up on my other social media accounts.

We are planning to make a high-resolution print file for our $10 + Patreon backers as soon as possible, the piece is way too big for our flatbed scanner so two scans are going to need to be stitched together digitally by Sarah. We're looking into making an actual print of it for sale, but we've never done prints before so that's going to be a bit of a process. But it's something we're definitely going to look into doing.

Anyway, I hope folks enjoyed watching the piece come together over the years in fits and starts on Twitter, Instagram and, finally, Patreon. I wonder if it was ever shown as a WIP on my Live Journal. It can't be that old...cripes, I hope not!

Below: The original villains piece I did for a charity auction ten years ago -- which I enlarged and expanded on for the new version. The original pin-up was drawn fairly small, if I remember correctly it was smaller than a comic book, on bristol board provided by the event organizers. It went for $300 which knocked me out.  I just realized -- if I have a high-resolution scan of this somewhere we can upload that as well for a PDF offering. Gonna have to poke around the file archives.
