Opening Up the Commissions List (Patreon)

I have one Milk & Cheese commission on the board to finish, and I was going to wait until that was done before opening the commissions list up, but holy goodnight, the oven just broke and we need to get that taken care of asap and January traditionally sucks for us.

So, I'm opening the list up for basic 9" x 12" pinups, offering slots to Patreon backers before I solicit anything on social media. 

Black and white starts at $200, color starts at $250 (shipping not included). A basic commission is pretty straightforward: Milk & Cheese yelling something (or not), some minimal background or design element behind them, i.e., you ask for a M&C pin-up and I draw something nifty for you. Something along the lines of the "Death To False Comics" image above.  

The more detail, lettering or reference involved -- the longer it's going to take me -- the higher the price goes. So, people asking for M&C and Bill & Ted, or M&C in costumes, or more specific requests (like a wedding party, smashing favorite records and toys or wearing pajamas while burning a city), pay for that extra work.  Like a lot of the other pinups above. Same goes for larger pieces. 

Also, please keep in mind I'm a slower cartoonist these days, old and sad, with a bum mitt, trying to keep my head above water. It usually takes me a few months to get these suckers done, sometimes they take longer than that, occasionally they get done in a few weeks. You can see from the above examples they aren't crapped out.  I really do try to turn them around asap, but they can get away from me between work, life and broken ovens, so I try to make that plain from the outset.

I'm considering taking on a few medium-sized pin-up commissions as well, like the ones I sometimes offer online out of the blue, which are 6" x 9", $150 color, $125 b&w (shipping not included). Same rules apply with these as far as details or costumes go, of course there's only so much more that can fit in, and so much higher the price can really go.
