Major Patreon Changes / Update post (Patreon)

Yo! Its been over a year since this Patreon started, and its been such a BIG change to my life and workflow, overall in a super positive way! I wanna keep up with it and see how far this ship can sail, but the winds have been rather small recently and progress is steadily slowing down- its time for me to change things.

TL;DR at the bottom

Primarily, patron doodles / requests need to go, entirely. They were great to start, and I did multiple a week. Then it became multiple a month, now its barely 1 a month with the paid slots taking up most of my mental time. Throughout this, their quality has steadily increased as I get more and more comfortable, they are at the point of being equivalent to my commissions in effort / quality. That needs to change, there are 3 slots where I'm charging $100 for a 2 char colored/shaded piece that's due more or less monthly. Its not sustainable, its burnt me out entirely, I can barely manage to open the form to view the free ideas cause I'm too occupied trying to play catch up on the paid ones.

As of next month, patron requests will be gone entirely, and it will be the last month I do the art tier slot

Instead, I'll sort of combine the two in spirit, and do a different system that benefits my mental health vastly. Replacing the request form, will be a monthly PATREON ONLY commission form.

I haven't figured out the prices just yet (likely in the $125+ per char range + BG/Shading/NSFW fees) but I'm aiming to take 2 new commissions a month. There will be no monthly due date, and I will not *force* myself to even take more than 1 commission if my work schedule is already too occupied- this is being built to stay flexible.

In turn this gives me LOADS more time, LOADS more support financially, and LOADS of stress off my back. This free time I can then dedicate to larger projects that raise the bar of what I can do as an artist. YCH's, Animations, Comics, Art Collabs, just doing the shit I want to and that I have a passion for- because thats when I make the best art I can.

I'm sorry the requests started to fall off, this change should have been made ages ago and I'm aware this new direction is going to make it more difficult to *get* art directly from me because of raised prices. Unfortunately, I put my soul into these pics and I think the amount of polish reflects that- I need to charge more and do less- Im not a robot, I cant do everything constantly, im a 23 year old kid with ADHD/Anxiety who's trying to figure their life out.

TL;DR-

Patron Request form will stop happening beginning next month.
Art Tier is being removed after next month.
Replacing them will be a monthly PATRON ONLY commission form, undecided prices right now.
I aim to take 2 comms a month, can be less, can be more, depends on my schedule
The free time will be dedicate to personal/larger art projects. I'm testing animated YCH's soon, I might swing hard into doing those if it goes well
