I really like the direction your story is taking. I love how you focus on the characters more and they aren't JUST there to be potential "victims". And, without being too spoilery to those who didn't read/see the original story & comic, I like the additions you made. You built up on the story in a very nice way. I also hope one certain scene isn't just a red herring, but you clearly built up a great story here so I'm excited to see what is next.

Again, without being too spoilery, just in case others reading this comment haven't seen the original and potentially spoil your story. The last panel of page 143 of your comic. Although, I think a better word for describing it would be a potential fake-out.
