Wow this video turned out way longer than I expected, and I had to cut out a lot of it, too. Sadly I wasn't able to go too in-depth with any of the references due to time constraint, otherwise I would've explained the plot of the novels, delve into each referenced movie a bit more.

Anyway, Kung Fu Hustle is one of those movies that aged amazingly well. It doesn't matter how many times I watched it, it stays fresh and fun. Hopefully this video helps make your future viewing experience better.

this was such a great video, thank you! kung fu hustle is one of my all time faves, and getting to appreciate it on a deeper, more fundamental level is something that i am deeply grateful for!! would it be at all possible to get a peek at some of the stuff that didn't make the cut? only if it's isn't too much trouble, i am hoping that there is a master list of topics you had to cull from?
