Originally in this episode, there was a lengthy discussion on Game of Throne (To the surprise of probably no one). Character death, when done right, can stir up so many emotions in their viewers. But it is also so easily botched, it can change /r/Freefolk into a subreddit about nothing but bashing the TV show. Don't even get me started on Rise of Skywalker.

While I personally was never that impressed with Train to Busan, It really is a solid movie with very little flaws. I does just enough in just the right way to make all the deaths emotional and memorable, that's a bigger achievement that it sounds.

SO, let's take a dive into this movie, with full spoilers, and see how it managed to make character death so good.
