[PATRON REWARD] Weekly Update - June 9nd, 2019 (Patreon)

That was a fulfilling week. I hope you enjoy our last episode.
Episode 16 will be released 20th of June. It'll be another topic oriented episode.

• Our last episode, episode 15, was originally episode 12. At the time, this channel is rapidly growing. I delayed the release due to fear of losing subscribers and stirring up controversies.
• It seems like those fear were, in fact, unfounded. While a few people did unsubscribed, the episode received overwhelming positive comments. Even when people with opposing opinions remains polite and open to discussions. So allow me to thank you all for the amazing experience.

• That said, our channel's growth has slowed to a crawl. YouTube no longer suggests my videos, and our subscriber count is growing at single digit per day.
• That means we will be focusing on attracting new viewers. So, the next few episodes will focus more on mainstream subjects, instead of niche films.

• On a related note,  the two month long copyright dispute for the Stephen Chow episode has finally came to an end.
• Now that my channel is in good standing, I can once again do more in-depth episodes, using longer clips.
• But also due to this bad experience, the originally planned "Stephen Chow Retrospective" and "The Gods Must Be Crazy Retrospective" are currently postponed. I still want to make them, but I'll have to wait until our income is stabilized from Patreon support and, potentially, sponsorships.

• Finally, due to constructions near my office, I'm having trouble recording my next episode. While unlikely, if this continues, I might have to delay the episode.

And that's it. It has been a great week for me. And next week is guarantee to be good because E3 is right around the corner. (Unless they tell me Animal Crossing is cancelled)
