Synopsis/Description:

During a chat, Shozaya bet me I couldn't tempt them away from Hollow Knight.

I might not have succeeded, but I'm pretty sure my attempt went better than Abby's attempt to beat Moira's soulcatcher eyes with her boobs!

The Rant:

So, as some of you know, conversations with me can turn into fun little surprises for the recipient! Shozaya and I were chatting about the possibility of my returning to comics in light of a comic page I'd blocked out the composition for being really well received specifically for said composition. While I will be returning to comics, I didn't really see the reception as incentive. Rather I think peeps liked the composition under Sho's pen (because I've done similar work to middling reception, so I have the numbers to compare notes), though I appreciated their attempt at support. The conversation then pivoted to how reception and marketing are a thing I tend to focus on more than they do, when they walked into the trap of implying they had a greater focus for/on non-kink than kink.

And so, in that sneaky Saunter way a few of you are familiar with, I attempted to sway them with fanart back to the kinky side. Because I'm me.

However, because I wanted it to be quick, I jumped onto the iPad. Big mistake. Something I'm still working on with iPad doodles, is replacing workflow shortcuts I'd normally have on Desktop. For starters, something desktop has spoiled me on is having multiple screens, and, by extension, multiple windows. While they should be used for storing reference images (so I'm not drawing/animating from memory), having multiple screens means I can distract myself with noise so I can focus on what I'm working on on the bottom screen. Additionally, having a keyboard means I don't have a useless hand that's only used for holding up the screen. Rather, I can use button shortcuts to jump between tools and options without having to go to their respective menus and selecting them. Not so much with Procreate, which is frustrating.

And this is before I get into not having enough of the similar brushes that I use in Photoshop in Procreate, resulting in a similar-but-not-enough-so art style for my tablet work. 

Which just means more practice, and hopefully patience from you guys while I get this optimized.

In terms of the drawing itself, I wanted there to be a narrative where Moira, enjoying Abby's curves, tricks Abby into betting that Moira's eyes are better for "seduction" are better than Abby's boobs. Naturally, despite knowing better about her own physiology, Abby falls for Moira's trick. Sadly, because this was very impromptu (and I didn't want to spend more time on it lest I left Sho hanging for too long), it wasn't planned out well enough to leave a dialogue box confirming as much.

Still, its not like you couldn't guess the narrative from the image itself!

mmm.... that being said,
One of these days, I'lll have to commission a four page comic (1.) Moira tricks Abby into taking a bet 2.) Abby attempts to hypnotize Moira. It fails. 3.) Moira turns the tables on Abby. 4.) Moira enjoys her prize while Abby enjoys being Moira's prize) from Shozaya watching this play out properly
