Synopsis/Description:

Ever since I saw @SuperTechno324's template for Hypno-droned fembots, I knew I had to animate an Abby drone!
I'd ask what Abby thinks, but I think she'd be kinda biased.
What do you think?

The Rant:

So, the story of this actually begins with another animation:

...which is actually finished, but the post doesn't go up 'til later, and I don't wanna distract you with that, in this post, so you get the animatic.

Anyway, you see that loop at the beginning? With Abby bouncing on her toes? After doodling it, I realized it matched the default pose that SuperTechno tends to pose their fembot drones, and that it'd be an easy match for Abby. I'd always wanted to do something with that template for Abby, but I also wanted to put my trademark Saunterwing spin on it. Not just in terms of art, but also animation (being one of the few prolific NSFW animators on the web). When I have an idea, but I'm not in the right space to execute, I bookmark it, with the intent on coming back to it later. So that's what I did; I bookmarked the thought while working on the boobymation.

Once I was done with the boobymation, I came back for the bounce loop. Luckily, for both the bounce idle loop and the fondle loop, I'd stashed both animations in their own symbol, so I didn't have to do much to cut it out of the timeline. From there, I went about changing Abby's attire in her various symbols, to match the template.

At first, for her torso, it was just a regular bunny suit, but I figured the tube top and bikini bottoms worked better instead. The cool thing about using symbols is that, if you set it up right, you can reuse assets to cut your worktime down. For example, if you look at Abby's limbs, because she's mirroring on both sides, It makes both arms and legs identical. Rather than creating four separate limbs, its just easier to create one set of limbs and then mirror it on the other side. Consequently, when modifying Abby from her normal attire to her fembot attire, I can just redraw one arm/leg/foot and it will automatically mirror on the other side. Granted, it's not as easy as it sounds (I still have to make sure parts overlap properly, and the lighting is consistent), but, again, way easier than redrawing everything from scratch.

As for her eyes, I wanted to update my spiral pattern. those kinds of patterns are notoriously difficult to draw, even in a raster program. At first, I tried drawing a spiral over her eyes, but it looked very janky. Then I tried importing a spiral from google. In addition to not meshing with my drawing very well, I felt very icky using someone else's pattern. So I went back to my template file and added more rings, while also shrinking the lineweight of those rings. It's still not perfect, but it works better than my old one.

You can see how their supposed to work in the outline. As for why the outline looks the way it does, well, in the final, its masked so that the spiral only extends as far as her eyelids. But the outline doesn't take masking into effect, so it looks like Abby's eyes are shooting radar waves. Neat huh?

But yeah, this is only "part" of a larger animation that you should see soon (or, if you're at $7/$10 tier, you can check it out in the dropbox before it drops). While I don't advocate always reusing assets/animation/content like this, I do think that when it works, you should go for it, so long as you can hide/distinguish your new version from your source.

I think it works....

Trevor Bond

She ends up looking like a character from Space Channel 5 with that suit and smile! Fancy! Seems like a pretty hearty bit of work to get here, but as a lot of it was updating things and such that's not necessarily a bad thing! I think she looks quite happy with the results lol!

This turned out amazing, really love her expression :)
