Synopsis/Description:
It seems unfair that Heron-Angel's Amber doesn't get a voice in all this, so @Princess_LilVA gave her one! Thank you so much!
Just cuz Amber has a voice doesn't mean she has a choice, tho! It's still...
GAME OVER.

The Rant:
This was FUN!
It really was, to do! It was also one of those rare pieces where everything mostly came together in my head, and more or less executed exactly as intended!
The only major sticking point was the elephant in the room:
"the voice."
The voice came about because, as I was re-watching the pre-cleanup composition I'd made, it struck me that the second shot reeeeeaaaally didn't work without a voice effect. Or rather, I'd sold the image of Amber violently spasming so hard from having her clothes ripped off, that it felt weird not to have some kind of voice clip of her reacting to it. She had to have a voice.
This presented a conundrum, since finding good SFX and music is already hard (even when they aren't free), and voices are not only highly specific to each person, but highly specific to each situation. Also, my voice is ridiculously specfic, and while I could probably match the pitch (I have been ID-ed as female purely on my voice), I couldn't match the tone, at least not in a way that I wouldn't find insulting. So, I asked around, to see if anyone I knew might know of any online voice libraries. Instead, Princess Lil straight up recorded the lines for me! Hot damn! Problem solved!
Something else that's interesting about this piece in particular is the juxtaposition of puppet asset animation in the first two shots and purely traditional animation in the last one. In hindsight, I do wish I'd applied the puppet mentality to the third shot as well, since I'm getting better at integrating the two (though I don't know if that'll be feasible for non-looping projects like short films). As is, it works, especially bolstered by Lil's moans, but I'll always want to do better, especially given the gifts (Heron's script, Lil's voice, my drawing toys) I've been given to work with.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments! Your feedback lets me know how I'm doing! Thank you for your continued support and patronage, and I'll catcha over yonder!
