The Rant: 

I.
Hate.
Costumes.

Well, more accurately, I hate that my comic-inspired rendering style, combined with my wishy-washy asset-based animation vs. traditional based animation and insane production schedule (and day job), made this animation a lot tougher than I would normally like. 

That's most of the reason this isn't in color, much as I would like to pretend its a stylistic choice. I had roughed out the first loop, and broke each frame down into assets, but I forgot to turn those assets into library-stored symbols. This meant that when I finished adding minimal inbetweens to smooth out the animation, I couldn't just go into every symbol and fill colors; I'd have to do it for every frame (which is a thing I just don't have time for)

This was also complicated by the second animation, which was purely traditional, and would have to be color-flatted (filling in the flat colors) the traditional way.

And so I simplified by just making it monochrome. 

Again.

I think it still works in this setting, but I hope to finess my production style and production schedule that the upcoming loops and Game Overs will be in full color.

Also, Amber's doing a lot of struggling! I wanted to sell that while both Abby and Amber are resistant, because only Amber has any meaningful way of resisting her capture, she struggles a lot harder than Abby. This isn't just limited to the firepower; Amber has more muscle-mass than Abby, as well as larger proportions. They just don't really help against what they're fighting. 

Besides the harder they fight, the further they fall, right?
