Synopsis/Description: 

 Looks like Abby isn't the only one feeling very squirmy in Nabby's clutches! Maybe it's because she's not going to be the only nude damsel either? 

The Rant: 

This one started out a little tougher than I'd have liked.

I was adding a lot of line detail in the initial asset breakdown that was making it really demotivating to finish, as I thought about my usual external steps (shadows, highlights, specular highlights). Part of that is just that Amber has a much more complex design than Abby, with a lot of color and lighting considerations I just don't have to worry about for Abby. Yeah, granted, she's gonna end up topless/naked soon, but that isn't "now," so I angst about it. 

This is mitigated by making it monochrome, but I want to migrate away from using that as a crutch because my reaction numbers take a hit every time I do.

Still I think this worked a lot better than I expected it to, due to the usage of easing frames and overshoot frames. Because I have one/two frame(s) leaning into the next keyframe, the animation doesn't feel as choppy as a low power video game. Also, having the boobs and hair overshoot gives the animation jiggle that makes Amber's struggles just that little bit sexier.

Its a case of doing a lot with a little, and hopefully the gains are greater than the losses!

I would have thought the monochrome here would be the ideal situation, given storywise I doubt her torch or fireballs have much to go on with Nabby snuffing them out. The animation looks jerky and stiff, but given the restraints I'd expect no less. I find it characterful and in-context, and I quite like it!
