I'm not sure the storytelling is as cohesive as I'd like, but I do think they're getting better. And they are actually a lot of fun to do, when the mood and inspiration strikes! Plus they provide pretty decent buffers for ideas so I'm not pushed to the last minute (even though I always end up working at the last minute) That being said, I do need to plan these a little better, especially in themed months where its obvious what the theme needs to be (MerMay, Halloween/theme-tober, etc etc). They come the same year every year, so it shouldn't be too hard to plan for.

Also, Bandit Bose gets a new outfit! Sadly, I hadn't had much time to consult BoxCat on Fem!Bozlion's outfit, so I gave them a variant on Abby's by accident. Well, mostly. My interpretation of Bozlion is that they are down for a lot of "fun," on their terms, so I modified their outfit to match:

The hard part was colors, since the above strips aren't actually in color, so there isn't much to reference directly from the source material. Luckily. Boz has a lot of other material, so I matched the colors there into something that would feel unified (the desaturated purple) with a hint of accent (the pink scarf). Hopefully other mild alterations, like the hot-shorts and belt would differentiate them enough from Abby, while still giving them the same playfulness.

Which reminds me: Why Fem!BozLion, Khloe Prower, and Princess Lil's Princess Diagora?

Well, a few weeks ago, when I was trying to come up with a holiday themed month of capers, Bose gave me the idea of Abby being transformed into a present. And while an appropriate ending sees her being boxed away, I'm not here for that, and neither are you. So, I decided that the best ending would see Abby turn into a trap for others to suffer her fate as well, and since Bose gave me the idea, BozLion deserves a present of their own, dontcha think? As for Khloe, Khloe independently commissioned a drawing from Bose of Abby, Khloe and Bose getting encased in latex during one of Bose's slavestreams:

I have been blessed that people enjoy me and Abby enough to get/create art of her, but I also have a problem with letting that just sit on its own, especially if I know the effort/cost it takes to get something like that made/done for me. In the case of getting a drawing from Bose, they're so popular that commission slots have to be raffled off for the sake of fairness, so it really means a lot that Khloe had Abby included in this. So naturally that couldn't stand, and so Khloe becomes one of Bose's predecessors.

In the case of Diagora, Lil and I started chatting and they wrote a little something-something for me, that you guys will get to read come Q1 of next year. Not only that, but also an AbbyCaper/Game Over adaptation as well! Keep your eyes open for that!  And so Diagora got the third spot, albeit as an alternate dragonized version of herself.

As for the actual strip itself....

This one was a doozy for some reason. I think part of it is that I'm stretching myself a little thinner, because of another project in a future post, that I need some time to adapt to integrating into my creation schedule. I just felt a little more drained than I normally do, but hopefully that should pass as I get better at integrating that other project into my workflow.

The other reason this one was a doozy is because its VERY busy! I think i"m getting better at making "shine" that accurately reflects multiple light-source and textures, and looks/feels squishy, but the cost is more detail. And with a main character with as much detail as Bose, and three other characters to draw, its a little draining.

And before you worry in the comments, It should be a one-off situation, and I'll be fine in 2020.

That being said, I'm not really too happy with the final "panel." its a little hard to read for my liking. I think the lighting/shading and colors  really help  (especially the gags/restraints) , but Diagora and Khloe get a little lost, and I'm not entirely sure how to fix that. I think it still reads, but I think it could be done better.

And that's the last strip before Christmas, but there's still two more left! One for the post season between Christmas and New Years, and a New Year's strip for Early Access! What could possibly bookend this year? Wait and see!
