The Rant:

So, this was a fun one! I was chatting with a bud on Discord when they linked me to the above mentioned tweet, and here we are! Looking at it now, I may update this with a nude transparent latex alternate version when I get home! It wouldn't be too hard.

If I may get elitist for a second...
This is one of those ideas that I think animation is uniquely suited for, until the tech for vfx becomes ubiquitous and easily accessible for live adult content to replicate. One of my favorite kinks in live action is the inclusion of fantasy elements. Magic ropes, latex encasement suits, spontaneous restraints, and, of course, "tentacles." The thing is, that most live film doesn't have the infrastructure necessary to create scenarious convincing enough to suspend disbelief (at least, not yet).

It doesn't help that, from my external observation, these movies aren't created with similar pipelines to their SFW counterparts, functioning more as scripted improv (introduce the scenario, get down and dirty, let the actors play), than a directed narrative. Beyond that, the cost (FX software ain't cheap) and training (you have to be both a good animator AND a good editor) required to create effects on a level remotely similar to superhero/tokusatsu television (to say nothing of Marvel superhero movies) are far beyond what most studios can create (again, from my outside observation). We kinda have to settle for "puppeteered ropes," "spontaneous restraints" and "acting hypnotized/restricted" until that tech and those skills becomes easy enough to acquire, learn and integrate.

Or we can animate it.

Animation has much more leeway in that regard because I don't have to be worried about Abby's extended safety (i.e. checking the restraints, checking her health) like I would with a live actor/actress. I just have to make sure its "accurate" to what would happen in real life, if not moreso (again, the actress in the tweet has to "pretend" to be restricted. Abby doesn't).

That being said, indie animation's not much better on that front either. A lot of illustrators conflate being able to draw with both being able to do comics or being able to animate. And while there is a lot of overlap, there isn't an immediate translation. You have to study and practice a LOT before you are as good at sequential storytelling and animation, as you are at illustration. The end result being that a lot of animation that is fidelically pretty, but "off" when it moves.

The boobs and hair don't feel jiggly, or jiggly in the right way because they aren't offset from the body and move with the same timing as the rest of the body. Body parts tend to either warp/smoosh into place, or bend awkwardly because the "animator" doesn't have a sense for consistency yet or the patience to make sure everything looks right across the animation, and not just the story poses.

The end result being that animation tends to not have much more of a leg to stand on, when it comes to fantasy kink.

That being said...

There are animators, like  Zone, Manyakiss and others (whose names elude me), who are putting out budget studio quality work. That's where my inspiration comes from. And if I have the skills, why not use 'em? Be the change you wanna see, after all!

Now, if only I could come up with an appropriate rate to profit off my animation skills? There's a reason I don't offer them; most casual clients ($10 - $100 range) couldn't afford what I think my skills are worth ($500 - $1000+), even for mini loops like these, to say nothing of the Game Overs, or extended animations. Well, a problem for another time. We'll see.

Again, be on the lookout for a nude "transparent latex" version of this this evening!

The struggle is real...

Trevor Bond

The hazard with animation is that everyone likes and wants it, but few can afford to pay for it. I know I'm lucky to afford my current Patreon expenditures, and that isn't even much. Still, I am glad you're pursuing the craft and you do excellent work, while providing excellent insight! Thank you!
