Its BagelBomb's B-day, and when Abby volunteered for a rope session with their OCs, Soda and Bagel, this wasn't she meant (Not sure what she was expecting, tho)!

The Rant:

Well, this was fun! I think this sold the worm's eye view a little better than I've been doing recently, so that's good. I also remembered to plan out a background, so it doesn't look as abstract/iffy as it has in the past! Yay!

Something that's interesting to note about Abby in particular is that she gets to keep her shirt in a way that feels intentional by the roper (Soda, in this case). That's because when I do fanart of other people's OCs, I try to keep them as close to that person's expression of them (this is probably going to come again). If the character isn't going to act like the personality they're known for, what's the point of using them? That's also why Abby interacts with them the way she does, and why certain characters don't just "dominate" her (which can make their usage difficult); its not in their character to, and I want to show the character owner that I respect and appreciate their work and their characters.

In BagelBomb's case, I've noticed that Bagel and Soda are rarely disrobed, or disrobed to the extent of Abby, so Abby gets to wear (and keep) her shirt. This time.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

I appreciate your devotion to character 'realism' (inasmuch as you can be faithful to their fictional reality). It makes it feel more accurate if you know the characters. And if you don't, like I don't here, it helps explain them a bit. Although, um.... what on earth DID Abby expect?!

Knowing Abby? She probably expected to be in Soda (the blue one)'s position, and misunderstandings were had (even before the gag!).

So you're saying self awareness and situational context are really not Abby's wheelhouse! lol
