In this prequel to Elijah Pink's Patreon comic Abby learns (again) that you should save the damsel in distress before appreciating her lest you become distressed yourself!

"Tia" and "the Blonde Bandit" belong to  Elijah Pink and are used with permission!

The Rant:

I really like how this turned out! I was kinda worried that color would highlight all the flaws in my approach to these comics, specifically the negative space that's not as apparent in the clean pencil phase. I think it works here because Tia's body acts as a panel border between the first act (Abby stumbling upon Tia) and the second act (Abby feeling her up and getting captured). I think there's a similar effect towards the end with Tia (again) but also the usage of the bush to separate Abby in the foreground from the background.

That being said, it kind of was a happy accident, and I'll need to play around to repeat it, because I think this is my best Abbycaper to date, and I'd like to be able to replicate it.

As for Abby, you might have noticed that her schlera (the whites of the eyes) have gone back to being skintone. I dunno, this just works for me, for Abby, even if I don't think it works for other characters.  Like the composition, I think there's a happy medium. I just have to find it.

Again, thanks to Elijah Pink for letting me borrow Tia and the blond bandit for this comic!

This turned out fantastic, and I love how the colour version turned out (though I still really like your sketched version too). Good use of angles create some really good panels, and Abby's opportunistic grin is the best :D

Abby (likely fails) to learn a lesson again I see! lol. I think the colors worked out well, and I don't think there's any problems with her sclera being skintone... I've seen that in lots of works. If it works for you, it works! Good panel composition such as you use in these. I'm sure you'll figure out the formula!
