State of Saunter: June 9th-June 15th (Patreon)

 Hey all!
It's time for another weekly "State of Saunter!" Honestly, this should have gone out yesterday, but yesterday was stupid busy, and by the time I finished with everything, I was so brain-dead I figured I'd put it off until today.

So, first off, daily personal reviews totally didn't work. I'm not a journal keeper, or at least, not one who dedicates enough proper time to doing so.  Plus, since its not a habit, its going to be something I need to work towards. I need to experiment with different methods that work for me until I find one that does. But I'm aware of the problem, which means I can start brainstorming solutions!

Something that's going a little bit better is buffering. I've changed the definition of "Early Access" for my Patreon because "post-as-it-gets-created" is stressful on the days where I don't have anything created, while still maintaining the appearance of a daily schedule, and creates an overload on the days where I have a lot to post. So to that end, I've decided to make and maintain both a public and Patreon buffer so I'm not stressing myself out and/or overloading you guys with content in the meantime. Its also why some of the content last week didn't go out; Gotta start somewhere!

Speaking of content overload, get a load of those birthdays!

So, about these (because people always seem to express some surprise with these)... Deviantart (where I post the majority of my art) gives you a week's notice beforehand (assuming the birthday person has made their B-day public AND has listed an actual accurate date) before the actual special day. By browsing through that person's gallery (or favorites folder, if they don't have any art), you can get a pretty good idea of what would make for a good image to draw for them. Also easier with fetish art because, y'know, fetish. With that knowledge, my expedited monochrome workflow and animator speed, its not to hard to put these out.

That being said...

This week was especially tough because there were a lot of birthdays both leading into this week and out of it! And despite the lead time, I ended up doing most of them yesterday at the last minute. Well, doing them on the actual day would have been the "last minute," but for my purposes it would have been even more stressful.

So... yeah.

For this upcoming week, I'm hoping to get some more buffering done, and after that, we can talk about ...other things? I kinda wanna talk "goals" and such, but for the time being I'm personally pretty happy with what I'm doing, and I want to get into a holding pattern of stability before I think about updating/upgrading.
