Hey.

I have a question here that I want to ask you as potential players. The question concerns the melee combat system, namely its appearance and control. I need your opinion - which of the types is more interesting in your opinion?

Type one: combat in the style of classic fighting games such as Mortal Kombat - opponents opposite each other in a confined space, attack and move back and forth. The enemy is usually one.

Type two: beat'em style, free view and movement, attacks in all directions. There can be many enemies.

Actually, this issue concerns primarily one-on-one battles, such as, for example, in the arena or "aggressive negotiations" with an intractable interlocutor. For clashes with groups of opponents, such as bandits or Tusken raiders, the second option is the most logical. However, in the first option also might be the ability to fight multiple enemies.

So what do you say?

if you can do the beat em up with alot how Ghosts of tsushima or AC valhalla is. That would be an under taking the only thing i think would need to be emphesized would be just basic parry/dodging mechanics that would be tailored to skills set so that you have a play style anyone can enjoy. like putting points into some evasion esq tree so you can get to dodge and feel more acrobatic. or if you want have the feel of a sword master than timed parries for the people looking for a more difficult but rewarding playstyle

Sithis no Kage

all the flashy movement is not needed (cool but i understand that in itself takes a whole department to create)

I have not played these games. I'll have to look on YouTube to understand what you're talking about :)
