Hello there.

As I promised, the next update, which will be released literally next week, will finally introduce a save system, without which (and I understand this perfectly) it is very difficult to play.

Now I want to ask you, which of the save system options would be preferable for you in a game like Saboteur?

I personally think combined saves are the best, especially if it's somewhere you can backtrack, but if it's a "only go forwards" type, then autosaves are fine.

I think the sentiment is combined, but I thought I'd add some stuff as to why: - Manual saves are a good idea generally, however I'd add with the caveat of "in specific places". Think something like Alien: Isolation, make the player commit to a handful of save spots and maybe even risk bypassing one for a shorter route, make saves an additional gameplay item players need to consider. - Automatic saves are necessary to prevent frustration. If you've just entered a new area, or after a cutscene, it'd be annoying if you went back to the last save BEFORE that happened, especially if it's quite a way back.

The idea of specific save places is interesting, considering that the technical setting of Star Wars is close to the setting of Alien. I'll think about it.
