Howdy, wonderful people!

More fast food!  I didn't actually set out to make a collection of such things, but stylised food turns out to be a fun design challenge.  This one is perhaps a little less stylised than the burger or hot dog in the picture because it turns out icecream cones are fairly simple, iconic forms already:

It won't surprise you to hear that the bit that took the most contemplation was the curl at the top.  I did agonise over different twirl sizes and thicknesses, frowning at potential printability and robustness concerns, but there was never any doubt that the icecream needed a curly bit at the top.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that this is a container, like the others!  The icecream and cone are both hollow and screw together, so you can store all your important icecream-adjacent treasures.

Print Description

This is a regular mode print!  Infill won't matter much at all, because this is mostly perimeters anyway.  '

Print Dimensions

The icecream part occupies 64mm x 64mm on the printer bed and is 76mm tall.

Supports Needed?

Not at all!  Designed for straightforward printing!

Scalability

This will scale reasonably well thanks to the wonders of threaded connections!  Beyond a certain point there might be issues of the thread tolerance being just too tight or too loose to function properly, of course :)

Print Orientation

Both the cone and the icecream print right-way-up like so:

Further Thoughts

Will there be more models of Questionable Food Choices?  Maybe!  Probably!  This one was inspired more literally than most models, in that I had the idea while eating an icecream one day...

Happy printing!

xoxo

Sven.

What filament did you use for the wafer cone? It's perfect!
