I just can't stay away from polyhedral assemblies!  This time it's another one based fundamentally on a dodecahedron, though somewhat embellished with hexagons, and hexagons in hexagons.

There are only two parts to this design - the sides and the bolts.  Being a dodecahedron there are 12 sides.  Each side has five bolts, so that's sixty in total.  The bolts push through one face and thread into the adjacent one, so we end up with alternating bolt heads and tails.

Inbuilt spacers keep the sides uniformly separated, just because.  The original version had optional spacers and it didn't look nearly as cool without them!

Printing Tips

No supports needed!  There's nothing particularly tricky about the parts, just some minor bridging in the hexagonal holes in the sides, but that shouldn't cause too much trouble.

The bolts print head-down, and the sides print middle-down, like so:

Print Dimensions

Each side piece is 99mm x 103mm at its widest, and is 45mm tall.  You'll need 12 of these!

The bolts are 16mm x 14mm and 20mm tall.  You'll need five per side, so 60 in total.

Further Thoughts

I'm sure this is far from the last time I'll revisit geometric assemblies.  They're just too satisfying to ignore :)

Happy printing!

You know I will print this one. Just need to get my other printer unclogged.
