Hi everyone!  I am in hinge box heaven right now!  I have other design ideas I really want to get to (and okay, some of those are planned to have hinges, too), but I couldn't resist getting this concept out the door.  This is one that had been bouncing around my head for a while - basically a triangular box with a print-in-place support-free hinged lid that covered the outside.

Over a few prototypes the triangle became a segment of a circle, because that curve is the path that the edge of the lid takes.  I'd say I chose it because it maximises the volume of the box but really I just liked the shape better.  Design available in the dropbox as usual, filed neatly under Sector Hinge Box.
