Remember this old girl?? 

I've been working through redesigning a lot of the old naku characters of mine, first came a random nothing character from one picture who became a possum named Marcy, and then I started sketching a skunk character named Jenefer that never made it to the art, but hey! This one's an actual named character from the old art, so at least now we're hitting the core group! And boy what a glow up she's got.

here's what she used to look like. 

Ruby is a little older than the other Naku, she likes acoustic music, the occasional cider or beer, and good food. She's got a texan accent and can be fairly sassy and nonchalant. A very down to earth girl though and quite loyal, unless you turn out to be a jerk, and then she will keep you away from her friends.

I def see her as the type of person who has 0 tolerence for any drama but not in the arms-length kinda way, she will actively insert herself in the drama affecting her loved ones to shut it down and protect them.
But maybe somewhere along the line she needs to learn her own limits and to stop fighting battles she doesn't have the energy for, all while learning to rely on the friends she has, to protect her from the enemies she makes along the way.

Oh, and if you're gonna be friends with her, just be warned of spontaneous platonic flirting and physical affection. If she decides you're one o' her boys then that's that.
