Sudden Change (Patreon)

Just in time for Mermay hehe
just felt like drawing this since I've been on a mermaid kick lately. This is meant to be a scene from a random story I started doing heh. 

The story is about this dude, Luka, chilling on his house boat. He feels a sudden disturbance in the water and sees this massive creature moving underneath and starts trying to move the boat to get away from this area, but just then there's a burst of water nearby that shoots into the sky around where the creature was moving and it showers over his boat and he sees an object clatter onto the deck amongst the water spray. After he gets away, later on, he checks out this object which is like a pretty seashell necklace with a glowing azure gem in the centre. After checking it out he puts it on randomly and then goes to check on some potted plants he has on the roof and after walking across the wet ground, he suddenly finds an energy building and surrounding him as the necklace glows even brighter, and when it all stops, he loses balance and falls back onto the floor, and sees he has transformed into a merfolk.
