Man I gotta disagree, I think Acid Rap is chance’s best work, I didn’t really rock with coloring book as hard as I did with this project

So glad I was able to check this out with you guys. Like you Acid Rap was a theme song to a period in my life. His music just syncs up with my soul and makes me listen. Glad to see ya'll excited about his new stuff. The Heart & The Tongue and high's and lows both deserve reacts. Also Baby Blue is Chance and Action Bronsons other track and they killed it.

This is my favorite Vibevilla reaction ever. Reliving this album with Darae raand watching Prince take it in for the first time made my day. Everyone I showed this project to tended not to like it on first listen (especially Chance's adlibs) but a week later they'd be singing the hook to Cocoa Butter kisses lol. Also surprised y'all didn't stop for the lyric "why God phone die every time that I call on him/ if his son had a twitter wonder if I would follow him." Also "I trip to make the fall shorter" is my favorite line from the project and "she only got you as a n**** on the side that's a n**** on the side of a side bitch homie!" Thanks Villains!

Also, I think this is the Chance Era a lot of us fell in love with. Glad Chance seems to be doing better and he found faith but it made start making very different music I, and think many others can't connect with and thus you get a Big Day situation. Only thing close to this he's dropped recently is that feature on PTSD off Herbo album.

Y’all should REALLY do the Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment album. It’s a band/hip hop group but with a bit more jazz, Chance is the frontman basically and it’s an amazing album from shortly after Acid Rap/before Colouring Book

Yo, thanks for covering this, for real. Like Darae was saying, this was an album I was hooked on for so long, and brings back such a specific time in my life. You know that feeling when a show you’ve been watching for years finally ends? That’s how it felt when that outro hit watching this. Haven’t listened to this in so long, and it brought back so many memories. This and Gambino’s Because The Internet were staples in such an interesting/impactful period of time for me. Much love

The reference that y’all “paused” on in everybody’s something was from slum village another popular mid west based group from Detroit, the track they referencing is fall in love, which is also sampled for the beat, The line he referenced is : “Ladies loving my music is like some sex shit Niggas trying to grip up on my mic like it's a dick”

Acid rain is a top 10 track for me personally because of the lines “I trip to make the fall shorter” and “my big homie died young just turned older than him,” Trip (acid) to make the fall (the come off) shorter, the more u abuse the less susceptible u are to the longer lasting effects and the tolerance is built, Literal sense is that the action of tripping shortens your fall, (ur literally falling only a short distance” Trip, as in (a getaway or vacation) to make the fall shorter, (season shorter) time passing goes hand in hand with the acid reference, So many bars like this in chance work even now that gets overlooked smh
