I’ve been a huge Mac fan since 2011, and I agree with how y’all feel about this project. It’s got it’s moments but it’s not one I go back to often, except for a couple tracks. A lot of it is dated and that’s ok, it helps showcase his overall growth as a musician since this was pretty early in his career.

You gotta remember that you guys are going the opposite in his growth as an artist as everyone else. I can totally see how starting off at his "best", his most "Mac Millerish" and going backward in time would lead you to conclusions on not feeling it very much. He'd basically just turned 22, and at 22 your wold is very small.
