Without 808, Chai'd be dead a hundred times over. Got him going again, at least for now. And look at him go, using the oldest videogame trick in the book!

808 really is like my kitty trying to get me up for breakfast hehe! It's very sweet to see them both looking out for each other. Chai wouldn't have even been in this situation if not for trying to save 808. The action scenes and thrill are the star of the show, but I like your characterization a lot, so forgive me for always talking about how cute the main duo is. Nothing ever feels out of character even in a completely different situation to the original game! Hooray for cool action scenes too! There's a handful of scenes that'd be cool to see animated (in my dreams, of course), and this is getting added to the list. Hopefully the fire deters V1-RS long enough for them to figure out a plan that isn't (understandably) freeze and await death!

Does your cat also yell at you like a drill sergeant? Although I don’t think we should entirely blame 808 for Chai ending up like this. If she wasn’t there, V1-RS would simply have found some other way to trap him. It’s not like Chai is a hard person to trick. Or well, was. Somehow I think he’ll be much more cautious when faced with dodgy situations after this. And thank you! It indeed would’ve been super cool to see some of these scenes animated but yeah… I should probably stick to more achievable methods of storytelling.
