Chai's mama didn't raise no quitter!!

Now, after 17 pages of build-up, we have finally reached the moment I have promised since the preface;

When all his powers and abilities are simultaneously taken away, Chai is forced to do the impossible; use his brain to win a fight.

In one corner, we have 3 deadly killer robots with claws, lasers, and a horrible attitude. And in the other corner, a one-armed skinny dude with a music-powered spidey sense and a cat.

Let's see how this goes~

First, I hope the heat wave passed and you're feeling better! I really like how you drew Chai here, especially the panel where he's telling 808 it's gonna be fine. The way the background goes from dark to light and 808's ears perking up it's a sweet scene. Will definitely sting later if things don't turn out fine. I like the little bits of levity dropped in despite the dire situation. Without the robot arm and guitar Chai looks even smaller next to the already pretty big robots. And just one bite from KEM-N0 completely destroyed his arm, so I don't know if the trash grabber will make it through. For all the ideas I have about how he could fend them off, I have a lot more ideas of how badly this could go wrong. But I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens next! Also congrats on KEM-N0 playable announcement! This comic was the first thing I thought of when I saw it in the trailer haha!

Hey! The heatwave hasn't passed, it's actually getting worse. :,) So working on this page was torture. Our architecture's made to hold onto heat and we have no such thing as airconditioning. But I didn't want to stop drawing for a whole month either. Anyway, you are correct. The penalty for getting hit now would be grievous injury, and that's if he's lucky. It was actually quite tricky to write some of the later sequences because every idea I had would realistically result in Chai getting one-shotted. Got a fair few deleted pages because of that. As for the trash grabber... well no one said anything about using it for combat. And yes! I was so pleased about seeing my favorite robot come to life! I really wasn't expecting it. And then they also did a Chai power downgrade and a bpm control and now I've installed a VPN and taped off my pc camera.

Hello. I hope you are doing all right with the heat wave. Hopefully, it will pass soon. I love your art style and how it is incorporated in your comic book of the game Hi-Fi Rush. With those animalistic robots, Chai better be careful if one hit or bite lands on him.
