Hello everyone, I have good news! I'm ready to release the dungeon prototype that I've been working on for the past month. Please keep in mind this is still in early development and many things will be improved upon in the coming months, including, but not limited to:

  • Additional characters
  • Additional enemy types
  • More interesting battles
  • More detailed and varied environments
  • A town to rest and stock up on equipment
  • A story
  • Better UI
  • Sounds!

What this prototype level offers is a small taste for how the dungeons will work and shows off a lot of the game mechanics already in place. Playtime is around 15-20 minutes and you'll fight your way through hordes of slimes to find treasure and acquire a mysterious power.

I want to thank everyone for your support over these past few months. A lot of my time was spent on working out the technical kinks and I can really see the game coming together now. Hopefully I can focus a bit more on some art and more content for February.

Keyboard Controls:

  • WASD or Arrow keys to move
  • Shift for special action(ie "Crouching" used with the slime form)
  • E  character screen (Class, Equipment)
  • ESC game options menu(only quit game for now) 

Controller can be used but it might be a little buggier right now (The selection cursor may disappear, use the mouse to select something again)

See the input tab when you run the game for more options.

I can't find the post of the one guy's solution to the mac problem. Did you delete that patreon post or am I just not searching right?

Thank you! Something I'm immediately noticing by the way is no indication in the item shop how many of X item you have. I'll save the rest of my comments for when I'm completely done with the demo lol

Enjoyed the demo, it gave me a lot of ideas for my own projects. Two small things I think need addressing is 1- Item shops should indicate how many of an item you have in stock. 2- The inventory should make it clear where you need to click to equip items, like having "Weapon" next to the sword and "Foot" next to where you would click to equip the boots you obtain.

Looking very promising so far, have to say :-) Very nice work. Couldn't figure out how to equip the boots you get, or how to actually use any of the potions. Is that mechanic not working yet or am I just being a bit thick? ;-)

I tried it but how can i turn on sound of game???? I cant hear anything sound when i play it...

I'm getting some screen sizing glitches. Menus are either on top of each other or off the screen. The animations are amazing and the art is very well done! It's just this problem that makes it hard to play >w>

The art is great and the concept as well, I have been having the same issue and I even tried to restart the game and used all the settings but the same issue happened, even when I put the smallest or biggest one possible and the same problem happened over and over again,

I apologize for the inconvenience, the ui obviously needs a lot of work. Please try playing in 1920x1080 for now.

Oh! I've been playing on the highest Resolution it can be played in. Which is 1280 x 720

That was fun. I love the animation. I just couldn't figure out how to wear the boots. They disappeared when I clicked them and it didn't show a + next to defense so did I discard them?

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it so far. The equipment screen will be improved for the next version.

Cool. Also are we supposed to report to you bugs that we come across or do we assume they'll be addressed in the next patch? Also is alt tabbing an option down the line rather than having to click on mobs during rights?

You should be able to use the arrows keys to select enemies they just don't highlight properly at the moment.

wow, this is a really great game! I love the design and the combat system is simple and efficient! : p I just notice something, is it possible to save? I finished the first dungeon but can't go back on the map, I have to quit the game, and when I go back to the game, I have to start all over :/

There's no save game yet. The only thing to do is repeat the dungeon and its just the same events for now.

enjoyed the quick run through. I didnt figure out how to crouch though, so I couldnt continue after the sliming. After sliming, would prefer that his junk stay exposed (ripped), rather than adjusting back to normal. I.e. follow a kind of armor-break scheme.
