Patreon Pricing Adjustment and Plans (Patreon)

In order to better realize my goals as an artist, I will be adjusting my Patreon pricing starting today. I will explain why below, but first I will be talking about what will change and how it will affect both current and new members;

-Going forward, the basic Lil Goo' tier will be $5 and the Big Slime tier will be $7

-For current members, you will not lose access or be forced to pay more. The current tiers with their current prices will be hidden but not deleted, meaning that they will still exist but cannot be joined again. This means that as long as you do not cancel your membership, you will retain all existing rights at the current price.

-The benefits given to each tier will not be changing; the price adjustment is meant to make my work more sustainable and comparable to other Patreons.

I appreciate patience and understanding with this. I'm sure some of you would like to know why I am making this change, so I will outline it below.

When I started this Patreon, I was not sure how well it would work and how I would be able to maintain it. As such, I was cautious with my pricing because I definitely do not want to overcharge people. However, at this point I am working almost every single day for multiple hours to produce content and improve it, most of which is early access on the patreon. I think I can now fully commit to working on my art and this patreon. I believe the balance I have struck with my paying audience and my 'free' audience is working well, so I would like to cement it into a more sustainable position.

The amount of support you guys have given me is truly insane, which is what makes me think I can actually make this work. But to make it work, I also need to be more realistic and treat it more seriously. I can't give into my defeatist mentality and undervalue myself. So I examined a lot of other Patreons in this community, and came to the conclusion that $5 seem to be a good base tier for pricing. Most of the content I upload is for this tier, so I think having it be the base tier will work well.

I hope that you can understand my reasoning here. My only goal with my art is too reach a point where I can live off of it sustainably; I'm not a very indulgent person when it comes to expensive things and luxuries. So ideally, this will be the only price adjustment I have to make for a LONG time.
