Here's the light setup I used, at the bottom are the settings. This isn't really different from what I typically use; I just have a basic light setup with a key light that's either a spot or a directional light. Sometimes I color the key light but it in this case I didn't to keep tails looking very simple. Usually I have several fill lights, one or more spots and an omni, but here I just used the omni (same color note as the key). Rim lights are typically spot and I use a blue color because I like it. I always also add a red spot light with just barely enough brightness to warm up the colors.

Also a note on the UVs; I had his tails attached to his body in last week's post, I ended up detaching them for 3 reasons:

1. They take up a huge amount of space on the UV sheet. This way I could just UV one and mirror it so they share the same shell so there's not as much space used.
2. All the model rips I've seen have the tails separate. This is likely because the helicopter spin action he does when filing is practically impossible if they're wielded into the body. Just worth doing if I was to ever rig this.
3. This is sort of an example of a last minute change I might have to do at a studio; no one caught it or thought of it until I'm way far along and I have to make a big edit. These have happened to me from time to time at work, even on Spyro.
