When people say she looks like her mother Kim, Zoe pretends it doesn't bother her. 

In truth, she tries to put as much space between herself and her architect mother as possible. That's not easy when they share the same flat, and her father moved abroad ten years ago and established a new family.

Zoe sees her mother as limitless, unorganized and self-centered. So she tries to be the opposite: Contained, trustworthy and empatic. That's hard work, because she's slowly realizing that she has inherited her mother's appetite for men that are older than herself.

Psychologically, it's obvius: She's seeking the father she never really had. But the subconscious is a powerful force - as our main character will experience first hand.
