Hey guys. Thanks for the reaction! So, Tanjiro is powerful with the Hinokami Kagura, but he is nowhere near the level of Hashira, he needs to train and improve a lot more to get to that point. The Hashiras are (in order of their appearance in this episode): Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku; Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui; Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji; Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima; Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito (my favourite); Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro; Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka; Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho; Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa. Now, I know we do not agree with most of the Hashira in this episode, but just like you said, it makes sense from their perspective, since Nezuko is an anomaly. Now, as for Sanemi, I think he went a bit too far with the stabbing, it was a bit unnecessary. Remember, although demons heal, it still hurts when they are injured, they feel pain. Regarding the headbutt, Tanjiro was only able to land a blow because Sanemi was distracted by Giyu. Sanemi is one of the strongest Hashira and way stronger than Tanjiro. And, btw, Sanemi does have a particular and personal reason to not trust that Nezuko (a demon) won’t attack humans, more than the others. You will understand in the future. Does not excuse all the stabbing, but I think it excuses the opposing of letting Nezuko live. And I have to say, you can look forward to seeing the Hashira in action! Also, just because they are the top of the top, does not mean they are disciplined in these situations. In combat, for sure more disciplined, but they are all quite quirky and it reflects on their actions and the way they speak. As for the master, he is blind. That “scar” or whatever on his face is due to an illness he has, and it is genetic. All the Hashira respect him and love him a lot, you will also see why for the most of them at least. However, they have a lot of respect back, which means that they don’t have to just agree with everything the master chooses. They won’t go completely against him, but may doubt his judgement and “argue”, like in this case. Really loved the reaction and discussion. I am excited for the next episodes and for the end of the first season, so we can start the next arc!
