This episode perfectly illustrates the trouble with being as powerful as The Originals. They got cocky and as a result, completely underestimated their enemies. I can't wait for the finale!

I would assume the reason we didn't get a bloody Elijah Vs the vamps fight was to prop up the wolves in this episode or to save money. But I agree the Marcel/Klaus fight was underwhelming. I think they were going for a more emotional fight, but all we got was like a minute of throwing basic ass punches and a couple lines of dialogue.
