Favourite part of this episode was seeing Klaus and Marcel work together. Rebekah said back in episode 2 that bringing them back together is just reuniting two long lost souls, and in this episode we finally got to see it. They’re a great team when they work together, and even when they’re on opposing sides it’s engaging to watch because of how complicated their relationship is. It’s a fresh dynamic to have Klaus love/care about someone that isn’t blood family or a romantic interest.

I really liked the post episode discussion! The Marcel and Klaus scenes are so great and the Elijah scene at the end was a good resolution on their fight. Also, Josh appreciation post- he brings levity to an intense show, which I love. I can’t wait for you guys to see how this season plays out- it’s sooooo good!
