This episode was mostly filler but the next 3 are good, the best of the season, and then you’re finally into season 6 which is much better than this season.

Luke wasn’t actually in any danger, he was just pretending to be. He could easily stop those two from holding him hostage, they just went along with it hoping that Enzo would kill Elena or Stefan

Tbf, Enzo’s humanity is off so he doesn’t care that he’s dead. But also, his humanity being off means he shouldn’t care about getting revenge. Being vengeful is an emotion. The rules on the no humanity thing is so fickle

Enzo as a character was created so that Damon would have a friend after they killed off Alaric, the problem with that is that it was very clear that they never had a very clear purpose for this character other than being Damon's friend, and at times it very much feels like all his storylines were just pulled out of the writers asses, like this one, it makes sense that since his humanity was off he wouldn't care about dying but it never made sense to me why Stefan didn't immediately tell Damon because technically Enzo killed himself and Damon would have understood. I get why Stefan was worried but this seemed like an unnecessary lie to me. But again I do love how much Stefan loves his brother though.

Maybe you guys already realised it or someone already addressed it, but watching this now, the place where they were hanging out and where Liv was working wasn't the Grill, it's not in Mystic Falls, it's in Whitmore (as they're going to college there), and it's sort of like the local bar/restaurant.
