Which method of content distribution would you prefer? (Patreon)

So as I work on this Ahri x Akali animation it's got me thinking about how I release content. 

Let's say it would take me a week and a half to do an animation. I could do this animation like normal and just post the WIP over here and then the finished product like I normally do. However it's a full week and half without content being posted.

Alternatively I could also do an unrelated image or two inbetween working on the animation but then it takes an extra half a week/week to release the finished animation. This results in more overall content but slower animations. As a side benefit this would also help with burnout on animations for because I'm not just working one long continuous project.

So would you prefer animations to be release faster, or a little slower with some images sprinkled in between?

I imagine most of you here enjoy animations a lot more than still images and I'm ok with that. Just wanted to get a general gauge on this sort of thing.
