July General Update (Patreon)

This post will be talking about various thoughts and feelings regarding myself and my work so it may be incoherent rambling so I apologize in advanced!

This last week has been rough mentally for me. With all that's going on in the world right now, the constant state of outside being hot as balls, and a few other personal things, it's been not great. Commissions might have also burned me out a tiny bit but I'm sure other things contributed to that more. The past few days things have felt better but the desire to animate isn't back up there yet.

In the mean time I've been messing around more with modeling in Blender so all that extra time I've still been doing some productive stuff. In regards to my animations I've also wanted to do more with them. The normal loops of just "here's two characters fucking" is getting a bit old so I'm going to be trying to give them more of a story. Even if it's something simple and done completely in the background. That or focus on something to improve in each one of them, either trying something new or practicing something I know could use work. Some other projects are becoming a little more of a reality because I'm also spending a little more time properly planning these out and working on making those ideas more concrete and something to work with.

The main two projects I've been planning for a while features the DoA girls playing some spin the bottle, and one featuring Samus "accidently" making a clone of herself that just so happens to be a futa. That's the barebone idea of them and while not much work is done with them, it'll be a slow and steady progress in the background but I'll update as I go along. I would also love to have voice acting done for these but we'll see how that stands in the future.

In regards to Patreon, I'm happy you regulars are still around and happy to all the new folks here too. It means a lot that you guys are still supporting me through all of this and I still plan on delivering content as long as there's a want for it! That said I've been a little disappointed with myself at the way it's been progressing. I recently checked the growth of it and it was steady growing for a good number of months but for the past few it seems it's stagnated a bit at around $150 per month. And just for reference the closest goal I have set is at $200 to start adding sound to my animations but we haven't quite hit that mark yet. Hopefully the push towards more story-oriented animations will help get us there. I'll keep working on things in the meantime and hope things work out.
