Lil Update - Patreon Paused for June (Patreon)

Hey everyone, hope you're all in a much better state than I am. Just giving a heads up that billing will be paused for the next month, so you won't be charged. I intend on taking a little bit of a break from putting out finished pieces of content for a short period. As much as I hate to pause things, the more pressure I keep on myself to make stuff right now the worse off I'm gunna be. As I mentioned in a previous post, seasonal depression is kicking my ass (along with some burnout), it normally comes around this time of year and around christmas. I mostly just consider this "spicy" depression because normally I feel bouts of depression year round but this just adds on top of it.

I'm guilty of putting a lot of pressure on myself for the two longer projects I started with the Alex x Rachel animation, along with the Melina x Maiden project. Hell even the Marie Rose animation from the beginning of this year. I really want to get back to those but perfectionism is being a pain in the ass. I need to learn how to better manage them without me putting too much expectations on myself. I think these are the biggest reasons for my current creative burnout. I want these projects to reflect quality animation work, something that I can be proud to showcase how much I've learned over the past few years, but that mindset ain't healthy, just gets in the way.

I'll still probably be doing some sketches and messing with models here and there but nothing too serious. I just need some time to decompress, get some other things done, and change priorities for a little bit. I'll still be hanging out in my discord and maybe helping out on some other projects with other artists but nothing too major.

Again I apologize to all of you for the lack of content lately, and hopefully you guys stick around. I do plan on returning and doing more stuff, I just need some time off and to recover so I can ignite that spark again. Thanks for your support, I'll give some updates/sketches sometime soon.
